Bryan Wiley NJAC Defensive Player of the Year

SUNY Cortland senior defensive end Bryan Wiley's impact season was rewarded with the highest honor. Wiley was named the NJAC Defensive Player of the Year for 2009.

The Thousand Islands graduate rolled up 69 tackles, 10 sacks, and 9 quarterback hurries in 2009. Wiley also recorded 17 tackles for losses. His 15 tackles in Cortland's second game of the season were key in the Red Dragons upsetting preseason league favorite Rowan. Wiley had 12 tackles in a close road loss at eventual league champion Montclair.
