Peterson ESPN Academic All-District Selection

SUNY Cortland senior punter Kyle Peterson has been selected to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District team. The Hendrick Hudson High School graduate had a 3.35 Grade Point Average entering the 2009 Fall semester.

The ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District team includes athletes from Division II and Division III colleges in New York and New England. The award is chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Peterson averaged 38.5 yards per punt in 2009. Of his 52 punts, an amazing 22 pinned opponents inside its 20-yard line. Only 3 punts went for touchbacks.
