Peterson Named to D3Football.com Team of the Week

SUNY Cortland punter Kyle Peterson is the latest Red Dragon to be named to the D3Football.com National Team of the Week.

Peterson had 3 of 5 punts land inside the Kean 20-yard line in a 24-10 defeat to the Cougars. Not a single punt went into the end zone for a touchback. Peterson averaged 40.8 yards per punt to help Cortland control field position.

A senior from Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, NY, Peterson ranks fifth in the nation in Division III with a 42.5 yards punting average.
